When the Ocean and history bike tour reached Williamsburg, the tired riders packed their bikes and gear in the van and headed back toward Philadelphia. They traveled by interstate highway, and averaged a steady 55 miles per hour for the 310-mile trip home.
You have seen that making a table and a graph can help you understand how the time and the distance traveled are related

Problem C:

1. If the students continued driving at a steady pace of 55 miles per hour the students would travel 550 miles by the time you had drove for 10 hours.

2. If the students continued driving at a steady pace of 55 miles per hour the students would travel 678.3 miles by the time you had drove for 12 and a third hours.

3. If the students continued driving at a steady pace of 55 miles per hour the students would travel 825 miles by the time you had drove for 15 hours.

Problem D:
Some of the patterns that I found in the table and the graph were that each hour they traveled 55 miles that’s why there is a straight diagonal line on the graph. The fact that they traveled 55 miles each hour helped me out a lot because I only that to multiply the same number. If the person is traveling the same amount of distance every hour just multiply the hours to the distance they travel per hour, then you will get the distance they traveled that day.
